Mister Car Wash has established an Employee Relief Fund (ERF) to help provide needed support to employees experiencing difficult times.

What is the Employee Relief Fund?

The ERF provides money to employees who are experiencing unforeseen emergencies and hardships due to circumstances beyond their control.

What types of situations may qualify for assistance?

There are many situations that may come up which you may not be prepared to handle without a little extra help.  Some examples are:

  • Illness or injury
  • Natural disaster
  • Loss of transportation
  • Death

Who is eligible to apply for assistance?

All employees are eligible to apply for funding even if they do not donate to the fund.  Applications for assistance are always kept confidential.

How is the program funded?

The Employee Relief Fund will be supported through employee donations, giving everyone a chance to help fellow employees!  Every dollar contributed to the fund will go towards assisting Mister employees.  Donations are completely voluntary and employees are encouraged to donate to the program in any amount they are able to give.

How do I donate?

To donate to the Fund, you should complete the “Employee Relief Fund Donation” form located under Forms in your Dayforce dashboard.

  • Contributions can be started and stopped at any time by completing a new form
  • Contributions can be made through on-going payroll deductions or as one-time donations
  • Contributions are NOT tax deductible

How do I apply for assistance?

BEGINNING JUNE 1, 2019, if you would like to apply for assistance, you should complete the “Employee Relief Fund Request” form located under Forms in your Dayforce dashboard.  Along with your request form, you will also need to provided documentation in support of your financial need.

Once your request and supporting documentation have been received, the Employee Relief Fund committee–made up of leadership employees who volunteer to serve– will review it for completeness and if approved will be funded through your next payroll.  *Assistance is subject to available funds in the Employee Relief Fund account.

What else should I know?

  • Approved applications will be funded through payroll and taxed as regular income
  • Contributions are NOT tax deductible
  • Funds received from the ERF are grants and do not need to be paid back
  • Applications must be submitted within 90 days of the hardship to be considered
