Health Savings Account limits for 2022 have been updated. As a reminder, HSA contributions can be updated at any time throughout the year and do not require a qualifying life event. Employees 55 years of age and older are allowed to contribute an additional $1,000 per year to the HSA plan. This is a great way to build more pre-tax savings!
Employee Only $3,650 (previously $3,600)
Family $7,300 (previously $7,200)
We recommend taking time before the first payroll in 2022 to review your annual HSA contribution election to properly plan for the upcoming year. Please note, elections are made on an annual basis (2x per month) so, any elections or updates made will be divided by the pay periods remaining in the calendar year.
