In 2021, Mister® is introducing some new and enhanced benefits for team members. Read below to catch up on all the changes, available resources, and guides on how to access benefits when you need them.

Paid Parental Leave

In support of our commitment to be a family-friendly employer, Mister Car Wash will be offering eligible team members up to 6 weeks of paid parental leave within the first 12 weeks after the birth or adoption of a child beginning January 1, 2021.

Who is eligible?

  • All full-time Mister team members who have been employed by Mister for at least 12 continuous months and worked a minimum of 1,250 hours prior to the commencement of the requested leave
  • Births, adoptions or foster care placements occurring on or after January 1, 2021 are covered
  • If both parents are Mister team members, both are entitled to take six weeks’ leave.

Use Mister’s 401(k) Benefit to Invest in Your Future

Perhaps you’ve never thought of “buying” your retirement. Yet, that is exactly what you do when you put money into a retirement nest egg! You are paying today for the cost of your retirement tomorrow. You are the architect of your financial future.  For every pre-tax dollar you put into your 401(k) savings account, Mister will give you an additional $0.50 up to 3% of your salary. 

Starting January 1, 2021, team members will now be eligible to participate in MCW’s retirement program at their 6-month anniversary.

  • There will no longer be an hour’s requirement for eligibility
  • We will be offering a traditional 401(k), and a Roth option

The table below can help you understand the differences between a traditional 401(k) and a Roth.

Required minimum distributions Must begin after age 70 1/2 (unless you are still working). Effective January 1, 2020 the age increased from 70 1/2 to 72. If you were 70 1/2 prior to January 1, 2020 you are subject to the prior rules.  Can avoid with rollover to Roth IRA***

Starting January, we will be replacing Joyable with Ginger, for team members who are enrolled in Mister’s health benefits! Whether you’re feeling stressed, scared, worried, or all of the above, you’re not alone. You and your household members age 18 and older have unlimited access to Ginger’s behavioral coaching services.

Ginger offers:
